Point cloud viewer
If your project includes a 3D point cloud, it opens in the built-in 3D viewer right in the browser. No downloads, plugins or desktop software are needed to explore the reconstructed scene.
Navigation works the way you would expect from a 3D tool:
- Orbit — rotate the view around the scene to inspect it from any angle.
- Pan — shift the view sideways to move across the site.
- Zoom — move closer to examine details or pull back for an overview.
The 3D view is a natural complement to the 2D map layers: structures, vegetation and terrain shapes that are hard to judge from above become obvious in three dimensions. For the map side of the viewer, see Map layers; for what the point cloud output itself contains, see Point cloud.
Like every asset, the point cloud is also downloadable if you want to work with it in your own software.
