Upload & quality check

Drop your flight images into a project — either create the project first, or drop the images straight into the dropzone and MapperTool takes it from there. Before anything is processed, we run an automatic data check on the image EXIF: GPS coverage, overlap, flight altitude and camera consistency, so problems surface before they cost you a processing run.

The flow is short:

  1. Create a project, or drop images straight into the dropzone.
  2. Wait for the upload to finish — the file list shows the state of every file.
  3. Read the data-check report and fix what it flags before you start the job.

If the report flags something, it usually traces back to how the images were captured — the capturing images section covers how to fly so the check passes cleanly.
