3D point cloud
A point cloud is your site reconstructed in three dimensions: millions of individual points, each with a real-world position and the color it had in the photos. Together they form a measurable 3D copy of the scene — buildings, terrain, vegetation and structures, seen from any angle.
The point cloud is built during photogrammetric processing from the same photos as your other outputs; you just tick it when choosing outputs. No extra sensor is needed — overlapping photos are enough for the geometry to be reconstructed.
What it is good for:
- Inspecting a site in true 3D — walk around structures, look at facades and slopes that a top-down map cannot show.
- A visual 3D deliverable that clients can explore through a share link, without installing anything.
- Downloading for further work in point-cloud or CAD software.
You can open the result directly in the browser with the 3D point cloud viewer — no desktop software required.
